Horner & Shifrin Names Brad Riechmann Associate Vice President

Mr. Riechmann serves as Transportation Regional Manager and O'Fallon, Illinois Office Manager

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. is pleased to announce that Brad Riechmann, PE has been named Associate Vice President and an Officer of the firm.

Mr. Riechmann joined Horner & Shifrin in 2008 and was promoted to Transportation Business Unit Leader and O’Fallon, Illinois Office Manager in January 2016. He has more than 15 years of experience as a civil engineer with expertise in highway and railroad planning and design. Brad also has broad experience in coordinating on behalf of client needs with railroads, state and municipal entities. Mr. Riechmann has been responsible for daily operations and enhancement of our services provided in the Illinois market.

Brad’s experience includes highway and street design, railroad track design, Phase I preliminary engineering studies, public involvement, Phase II design, independent QC/QA reviews, value engineering studies, intersection design studies (IDS), complete streets policy, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, surveying and production of construction documents. He has worked on numerous award-winning projects, including the I-55 at I-72 LiDAR survey, the Porter Simmons Roundabout, the IL 15 at 158 Interchange Reconstruction and IL Route 3 over the Union Pacific Railroad/Prairie DuPont Canal. He has also managed many prestigious transportation engineering projects for the firm, such as the Martin Luther King Bridge Connector, the IL Route 3 Reconstruction in Waterloo, IL and I-270 & IL Route 3 Interchange Reconstruction in Madison County, IL.  Brad is currently managing the completion of the I-270 Bridge replacement Phase I project, as well as kick off of the second phase of the project.
