H&S Presents at TEAM Conference

Jarrett Jasper, Tom Lohman and Jim McCleish spoke on topics relevant to transportation engineers on March 8th

This week, expert engineers from Horner & Shifrin presented on three separate topics at the Transportation Engineers Association of Missouri (TEAM) Conference in Branson, MO. The foremost transportation engineering organization in the state, TEAM provides a forum for continuing education through workshops and breakout sessions at their annual conference. Jarrett Jasper, Associate Vice President, presented alongside representatives from the Federal Highway Administration, MoDOT and Jacobs on the life-saving work being performed as part of MoDOT’s St. Louis District Safety Design Build project.

Tom Lohman, Senior Project Manager, outlined the ongoing inspection and load rating work H&S has performed on the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge over the Mississippi River in St. Louis.

Jim McCleish, Vice President, spoke on the innovative approach taken to design and construct South Sprigg Street Bridge over active sinkholes in Cape Girardeau, a project for which Horner & Shifrin recently received an Honor Award from ACEC Missouri.
