Olive Boulevard Streetscape Improvements
Will Increase Pedestrian Safety

Horner & Shifrin, Inc., is designing enhancements on Olive Boulevard from I-170 to Skinker Boulevard for the City of University City, MO, that will create a safe, comfortable and attractive pedestrian experience.

According to Horner & Shifrin Project Manager, Ramin Ashrafzadeh, “Our goal is to create a more pedestrian-friendly environment. Through the addition of ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps and pedestrian-level lighting, the Olive Boulevard corridor will increase pedestrian safety while encouraging economic development.”

Additional enhancements to this corridor include improvements to shoulders and sidewalks, as well as the addition of bus shelters, benches, bike racks and landscaping enhancements.
