Sam Mittal Joins Horner & Shifrin as Structural Bridge Project Manager
Mr. Mittal brings 13 years of experience designing and evaluating transportation structures in the Chicago metropolitan area and nationwide.
Sam Mittal has joined Horner & Shifrin, Inc. as a Project Manager in the Structural Bridge Engineering group.
Mr. Mittal holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, India, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Mr. Mittal brings 13 years of experience designing and evaluating transportation structures in the Chicago metropolitan area and nationwide. His experience encompasses design of both pre-stressed concrete and steel girder bridges, as well as 3D analysis and ratings of long-span Segmental and Tied Arch Bridges. Sam is experienced in Design-Build alternative delivery method with such projects as SR-92 in Utah, as well as the traditional Design-Bid-Build procurement. Most recently, he delivered several contracts for Bridge Designs on $120M Edens Spur Reconstruction in Illinois.
