Overview

Horner & Shifrin performed the design of a replacement structure carrying Sutters Mill Road over Spencer Creek along with associated roadway work including the extension of a sidewalk and multi-use path. The new bridge is an 84-ft long simple span structure with a new aesthetic canopy providing the appearance of a traditional covered bridge. Decorative lighting and stone patterned form-lined barriers further enhance the appearance of the project, which replaced a neighborhood landmark.
