Overview
Horner & Shifrin provided engineering design services for the reconstruction of 1,500’ of Bramblett Road, from Bramblett Hills to south of the Schnucks property, in the City of O’Fallon, Missouri. Improvements involved the complete reconstruction of Bramblett Road’s pavement, a correction to an insufficient vertical curve, new sidewalks on both sides of the road, a large open drainage ditch to address overtopping of Bramblett Road and insufficient drainage infrastructure in the existing condition. Other elements included ADA improvements, retaining walls, and extensive utility coordination. The project was funded by a partnership agreement with the St. Charles County Road Board.
