Horner & Shifrin Celebrates Engineers Week 2018
Horner & Shifrin spent February 18-24, 2018 celebrating Engineers Week. Engineers have an amazing impact on everyday life. At H&S, our Engineers have helped shape the infrastructure in and around the St. Louis metropolitan area for the last 85 years.
Horner & Shifrin was founded October 1, 1933 during an economic crisis. Both Wesley Horner and Hymen Shifrin were already considered experts in their field, which included airport design, streets and paving, sewer design, hydrology and urban drainage – giving the firm instant credibility, which easily translated to working with clients H&S works with today.
Engineer’s Week is a time for everyone to celebrate and wonder what the next big innovation will be, as described by DiscoverE. We are proud to have a very talented group of dedicated engineers that work here at Horner & Shifrin.
