Jeff Crawford Joins Horner & Shifrin, Inc. as Senior Vice President, Business Unit Leader – Building Services
Horner & Shifrin is excited to welcome Jeff Crawford PE, LEED AP, as a Senior Vice President, Business Unit Leader in our Building Services department. Jeff brings more than 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management, with specialized expertise in educational and science & technology facilities.
Jeff carries a track record of delivering complex, high-performance projects across the higher education, research, and science & technology sectors. Throughout his career, Jeff has overseen the design and execution of hundreds of projects, including advanced research laboratories, student housing, central utility plants, and high-performance academic buildings.
Jeff is a LEED Accredited Professional and Certified Construction Specifier (CCS), demonstrating his commitment to sustainable design principles. He is actively involved with professional organizations, including the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, US Green Building Council, and Society for College and University Planning.
Jeff’s background includes significant higher education and healthcare project experience at Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Missouri System, Indiana University, and the University of Notre Dame. Healthcare facilities where Jeff has experience include Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Barnes– Jewish Hospital, and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, among others. Many of these projects achieved LEED Gold or Platinum certification, reinforcing his track record in delivering environmentally-conscious projects..

Jeff holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer in 13 states.
