Overview
After relocating to expand their volume of production, Arcobasso Foods (a custom salad dressing, sauce and marinade manufacturer) was experiencing MSD compliance and surcharge issues for oil, grease and pH. Horner & Shifrin developed an interim solution to allow for extra storage volume, reducing the cost of wastewater hauling and allowing the facility to remain in operation without fines from MSD. A dissolved air flotation pilot unit was installed for testing, which proved successful and lead to the purchase of the pilot unit for permanent installation.
