Overview
Horner & Shifrin provided engineering design services for the Fulton State Hospital to replace existing tunnel piping and equipment. Work in the tunnel included replacing the chilled water, heating hot water and domestic water piping, adding expansion compensation and replacing piping supports and hangers. Work also included removing the existing steam boilers and replacing with dual-fuel hot water boilers. Domestic water heaters and chilled water pumps were replaced. Work was done to keep campus operational during construction.
