Overview
Horner & Shifrin provided engineering design services for roadway and detention for MoDOT’s $62M I-70 Cave Springs Design-Build Project. H&S led the roadway efforts for the Zumbehl interchange. Design included horizontal and vertical alignments that shifted the Zumbehl Road centerline 25’ and raised the profile 2’, 3D modeling of the interchange, grading, retaining walls, ADA/PROWAG design, and cross sections as well as leading coordination with other disciplines. Additionally, H&S designed detention along the entire four-mile corridor from the Cave Springs interchange to Convention Center Boulevard.
