Horner & Shifrin designed a replacement bridge carrying Lackland Road over Fee Fee Creek. The new structure is comprised of 52-ft prestressed precast spread concrete beams supported by integral abutments founded on steel h-piles. The bridge features a 32-ft wide roadway and 5-ft sidewalk. A close proximity driveway and manhole prompted creative engineering solutions to tie into or avoid existing site features.
