Overview
Horner & Shifrin was selected to provide engineering services for the rehabilitation of the Veterans Boulevard Bridge over Roark Creek in downtown Branson, Missouri. This bridge provides a major point of access for the downtown area and spans over the Missouri & Northern Arkansas (MNA) Railroad and Roark Creek.
The final scope of work included concrete repairs, new fencing and lighting, expansion joint sealant replacement and sealing the existing concrete overlay. Traffic control plans for both road and boat traffic were developed. The project also included coordination with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, MNA Railroad and wetlands delineation. We will provide technical assistance during construction.
