About Matt Castro, PE

Matt Castro is a structural engineer with more than 10 years of experience in design of building structures and foundations.  Project type experience includes multi-story office and residential, industrial, water containment, cold-formed metal framing shop drawings, connection design, construction sequencing, and temporary shoring.  Experience with existing structures includes site visits for damage assessment and repair of existing framing, due diligence and feasibility studies, structural modifications and additions, new equipment support, and adaptive reuse. Design experience includes concrete, steel, cmu, wood, cold-formed steel, and wind/seismic lateral analysis.  Matt is also experienced in managing projects from inception with the owner/architect through design, documentation, and construction administration.
