About Raciel Ocampo, PE

Raciel Ocampo has 13 years of diverse experience in transportation design, particularly in Roadway Geometrics and Maintenance of Traffic. Raciel’s career began as an FHWA – IL intern which provided him with a strong understanding of the federal and state procedures. He has progressed his career through Intersection Design Studies, Crash Analysis, and Project Development Reports to the development of Phase II bid documents, staged construction, complex maintenance of traffic plans, Transportation Management Plans, and cost estimates for IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and Ohio DOT.

Raciel has also held the IDOT – D1 Traffic Control Staging reviewer position, where he was responsible for reviewing local, IDOT, and county roadways, expressways, permits, Phase I reports, and Transportation Management Plans (TMP). Additionally, Raciel is an active member of ASCE – T&DI and ACEC – D1 & Emerging Professionals and serves on the ACEC – MOT Committee.
