About Steve Donahue, PE

Steve is the seventh and youngest president in Horner & Shifrin’s rich, 85-year history and serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Steve formerly managed H&S’ O’Fallon, Illinois office where he was the project manager for many award-winning projects for the Illinois Department of Transportation as well as local cities and counties in the metro-east. Steve is a member of the Engineers Club of St. Louis and serves on the Board of Directors of the Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois. Steve is also active in the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), where he serves as Past Board Chair of ACEC-Illinois.

Steve resides with his family in O’Fallon, Illinois. In his free time, he serves as a Captain on the O’Fallon (Illinois) Fire Department. Steve also enjoys watching his children in their many activities, an occasional round of golf, and duck hunting on the Illinois River.
