Monica Mitra Joins Horner & Shifrin as Accounting Director
Horner & Shifrin, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Monica Mitra as the new Accounting Director for the firm. Monica brings over 20 years of extensive experience in project accounting and corporate finance within the architectural, engineering, and construction management industry.
Monica has a proven track record of developing and integrating processes and procedures that significantly enhance company operations. Her expertise in database management and global integration, coupled with her outstanding training, leadership, and presentation skills, make her an invaluable addition to the Horner & Shifrin team.
Prior to joining Horner & Shifrin, Monica managed a team of over ten project accountants and played a crucial role in the successful integration of five acquired companies into a unified financial system. Her responsibilities included overseeing contract management, subconsultant agreement processing, and providing comprehensive training across the company.
Monica holds a degree in Business Administration from Hickey College. Her dedication, attention to detail, and positive attitude have consistently driven her success in every role she has undertaken.
