Structural Group Promotions, New Hires and Relocations

Promotions
Tom Lohman, PE, SE | Associate VP, Business Unit Leader
Tom Lohman was promoted to Business Unit Leader, filling the role left by Mike Banashek as Mike transitioned into his new role in Technical Operations. Tom has spent 16 years at H&S, most recently serving as Assistant Business Unit Leader. With more than 26 years of industry experience, Tom has served as project manager on numerous bridge projects including MoDOT’s Broadway over I-44 structure replacement in St. Louis, Bootheel Bridge Bundle Design-Build, I-44 Bridges over City Streets in St. Louis, and Four Bridges over I-64 in St. Louis, among others.
New Hires
Caleigh Ruether | Project Engineer
Caleigh Ruether was hired in May as Project Engineer. Caleigh joined H&S after six years at MoDOT, where she served as structural design, bridge location and layout designer, working on projects across the state of Missouri. During her time at MoDOT, Caleigh served as Secretary of HYPE (Helping Young Professionals Engage), an employee resource group for career development.
Paige Gregory, PE | Project Engineer
Paige Gregory returned to H&S in May as Project Engineer. Paige previously spent two years at H&S from 2020-2022. Paige has more than 14 years of experience in bridge and building design. Paige has gained significant experience working on bridge structure design at H&S, including MoDOT’s Broadway over I-44 structure replacement in St. Louis and Bootheel Bridge Bundle Design-Build.
Sherrissa Foster | CADD Technician
Sherrissa Foster joined H&S in June as a CADD Technician. Sherrissa has more than 18 years of experience as a technician and has worked on a wide variety of projects throughout her career.
Relocations
Simon Rothwell | Engineer
Simon Rothwell will be relocating to Horner & Shifrin’s office in Bentonville, Arkansas. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2022, Simon spent 12 months working from the H&S St. Louis office. Simon’s presence in the Northwest Arkansas region will help us to better serve our clients through an increased ability for impromptu site visits, opportunity reconnaissance and in-person meetings with regional clients.
