About Leslie Calderwood

Leslie Calderwood is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience in transportation engineering, traffic signal design, program management, and project coordination. As manager of UDOT’s Traffic Signal Program Management Support contract, she oversees the delivery of hundreds of traffic signal designs statewide, working closely with UDOT regions, designers, contractors, and inspectors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and meet UDOT standards.

Known for her attention to detail and commitment to quality, Leslie has played a key role in improving UDOT’s traffic signal procurement and project delivery processes — from initial scoping through construction and closeout.
