Meet April Giesmann, PE, CFM -
Foundation Board Vice Chair
April Giesmann has more than 27 years of experience in civil engineering design and Project Management, including extensive experience working with municipalities and permitting agencies. In addition to serving as Vice Chair on the Barnes Jewish St. Peters and Progress West Hospitals Foundation Board, she has been involved in the design of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and creek restoration projects, as well as site design for educational facilities, parks, commercial projects, residential developments, and recreational facilities. Her areas of expertise include site design, hydraulic modeling for floodplain analyses, storm sewer analysis and design, water quantity detention routing, and water quality Best Management Practice (BMP) design. She is also a Certified Floodplain Manager. As Vice President and Business Unit Leader of Civil/Site, she oversees the daily operations of the department, including manpower resourcing and financial oversight.
